Four things separate a garage from a room. The walls and ceiling are usually uninsulated. The lighting is a single bulb or a strip fixture. The slab slopes toward the door and sits below the house floor. And there is a large opening where the garage door is. All four get addressed in a proper conversion. Skip any one and the room is cold in January, dim all year, or has a step you trip on.
A bedroom needs a closet and a window that meets egress. An office needs outlets in useful places and enough light to work by. A den needs neither but wants the ceiling finished properly. Tell us what the room is for and the scope follows from that. If keeping some storage matters, we can partition part of the depth and finish the rest.
