A door that latches on the first try is not a small thing.
Repairs
Doors are where a settled house shows itself. The frame racks a quarter inch, the latch misses the strike, and the door either sticks or swings open on its own. Geaux 2 Guy installs interior, exterior, closet and bifold doors across Columbia. Locks and hardware come with them. New openings and old ones that have moved are both fine. Estimates are free.
How the client describes it: Installation of interior doors, exterior doors, and hardware for security and aesthetics.

Old openings are rarely square. Doors get shimmed and set so they latch and stay where you put them.
Threshold, weatherstrip and flashing done right, because an exterior door is part of the building envelope.
Deadbolts, knobs, levers and strike plates installed and adjusted, not just screwed to the face of the door.

Replacing hollow-core doors and flat casing is one of the fastest visible upgrades in an older Columbia house. Six-panel or shaker doors with proper casing change a hallway completely. Bifold closet doors are the other common ask, usually because the originals came off the track years ago. Both are jobs where the track, the jamb and the reveal all have to be right or the door will bind again within a season.
An exterior door has three jobs: keep weather out, keep people out and open easily for you. That means a solid slab or a properly built unit. A threshold that seals. Weatherstrip that actually touches the door. A deadbolt with its strike plate screwed into the framing, not the thin jamb stock. We do all four as one install.
In Their Words
“Squirrels turned our cedar siding into a chew toy. Once we got the trees trimmed back, Graham and his team restored everything to as good as new. Very responsive, easy process, great price for a great job. Highly recommend.”
