Replacing damaged siding on half a wall is easy. Making it disappear into the other half is the job. Cedar shake, lap siding and trim profiles vary by era and by manufacturer, and a poor match is visible from the street forever. We source to match, weave the courses in, and prime and paint so the repair reads as original. That applies just as much to dormer trim, fascia, soffit and porch column bases, which is where rot usually starts in this climate.
New framing shows up in most of our bigger jobs: partition walls, framed openings, closet builds, subfloor and sheathing on a porch, and full walls for a room addition. Outside, we build wood privacy fence and picket fence, and timber structures like open-sided carports set over a paver pad. All of it is measured and cut on site.
